UPDATED Review: Well, I am now on dryer #3. The first one’s fan broke at 11 months, the second one’s heating element at 3 months. I’m hoping that the third time is the charm. Helen of Troy, the parent company, is happy to continue to replace my dryers as long as I pay to ship the item back and fork out a warranty fee (wtf?!). So basically, you have to keep paying them MORE money so they can continue to send defective products. Spare yourself the aggravation and buy another dryer.
ORIGINAL Review: I love this dryer. It is so much quieter than my Conair ionic, very lightweight, comes with a concentrator and diffuser (for those of us who like curly and straight), and isn’t too hot for my fine hair. I’ve used mine for 5 months now with no problems. My ONLY issue with it is a design flaw with the buttons…they are switch buttons as opposed to slide, and it took quite a while to find a place to hold the dryer without hitting one of the buttons accidentally. This was very irksome for a while, but I got used to it and don’t have any problems now.amazon.com
